It is lunchtime.
Pete is ready to eat.
现在是午餐时间，皮特准备吃午餐了。

What should Pete eat?
皮特会吃什么呢？
A sandwich would be nice.
一个三明治再好不过了。

Yes, Pete wants a sandwich.
Pete opens the fridge.
是的，皮特想要吃一个三明治，
皮特打开了冰箱。

He takes out a loaf of bread.
He finds a yummy fish.
他拿出了一条面包，
还找到了一条美味的鱼。
He adds tomato and mayo.
他加了西红柿和蛋黄酱。

Pete looks at his sandwich.
It is too small.
Something is missing.
皮特看着他的三明治。
三明治太小了。
还少些东西。
Pete knows what it needs.
His sandwich needs an apple.
Pete loves apples!
皮特知道需要什么。
他的三明治需要一个苹果。
皮特喜欢苹果！

His sandwich needs crackers.
Crackers are crunchy.
Pete loves crunchy crackers!
他的三明治需要薄脆饼干，
薄脆饼干非常松脆。
皮特喜欢松脆的薄脆饼干！
Pete looks at his sandwich again.
It is still too small.
皮特再次看看他的三明治，
觉得它还是太小了。

Pete is very hungry.
皮特非常的饿。
Pete adds a pickle.
Pete adds cheese.
Pete adds an egg,
Two hot dogs,
a banana,
and a can of beans.
皮特加了一根腌黄瓜，
皮特加了一些奶酪，
皮特加了一个鸡蛋，
两个热狗，
一根香蕉，
以及一听豆子。

Something is missing.
还是少了些东西。

Pete adds ice cream!
He takes three huge scoops.
皮特加了些冰激凌！
他加了三大勺冰激凌

Pete’s sandwich is too big for Pete to eat.
皮特的三明治太大了，他一个人吃不完。

Pete wonders what to do.
Pete thinks and thinks.
皮特想知道该怎么办。
皮特想啊想啊。

“I’ve got it!” Pete says.
Pete calls all of his friends.
“我想到了！”皮特说。
皮特给他所有的朋友都打了电话，

He asks them to come over.
他邀请他们过来。

Everyone goes to Pete’s house.
They are all very hungry.
大家来到皮特家，
它们都很饿。

Pete shows them his big lunch.
皮特给大家看他准备的丰盛的午餐。

“Are you hungry?” asks Pete.
Pete’s sandwich is big enough for everyone.
“Dig in!” says Pete.
“你们饿吗？”皮特问。
皮特的三明治很大，足够大家一起吃。
“开动！”皮特说。

Pete’s sandwich is good.
皮特的三明治很好吃。
Pete’s sandwich is VERY good.
皮特的三明治非常好吃。

Pete’s sandwich is all gone.
Pete’s friends are full.
They liked Pete’s big lunch.
皮特的三明治被吃光了，
皮特的朋友们都吃得饱饱的。
他们都喜欢皮特的这顿丰盛的午餐。

“Thanks for lunch,” Pete’s friends say. “Thanks for sharing!”
“谢谢你的午餐，”皮特的朋友们说：“谢谢你和我们一起分享！”

“You are welcome,” Pete says.
Sharing is cool.
“不用客气。”皮特说。
分享是件很酷的事儿。
