2013年中国的生铁产量为6.58亿吨，排名世界第一，占全球总产量的59%;与1978年中国生铁产量3479万吨相比，增长了17.9倍，翻了将近9番。

2.煤炭排名世界第一
2013年中国煤炭产量为36.6亿吨，为全球最大产煤国，产量占到全球总产量的一半;为1978年6.1亿吨的6.6倍。
