这是一首聂鲁达的诗，收录于《二十首情诗和一首绝望的歌》之中。原文是西班牙语的，后被译为很多种语言。我这里展示的是英文版以及中文翻译。
第一次听到这首诗是在2003年，当时看到有一本磁带版疯狂英语的封面是哈利波特与密室，喜欢的不得了，毫不犹豫的收入囊中，书里面关于哈利波特电影里的情节台词我几乎每晚睡前都放磁带听，以至于十几年过去了都还能记得一些台词和语调。在听哈利波特的时候，也不可避免的将磁带中随之而来的一首诗一遍遍的听进了脑海里。

没错，我喜欢你是寂静的。第一次听的时候，觉得原声声线有些诡异，但后来听了很多其他版本后，还是最喜欢这一版，语气语调都很符合这首诗本身的意境。原声读者是Luis Bacalov.

and you hear me from far away and my voice does
not touch you.
It seems as though your eyes had flown away

you emerge from the things, filled with my soul.
You are like my soul, a butterfly of dream,
and you are like the word Melancholy.
　　
I like for you to be still, and you seem far away.
It sounds as though you were lamenting, a butterfly
cooing like a dove.
And you hear me from far away, and my voice does
not reach you:
Let me come to be still in your silence.
And let me talk to you with your silence
that is bright as a lamp, simple as a ring.
You are like the night, with its stillness and constellations.
Your silence is that of a star, as remote and candid.
